Come and create a unique and colourful piece of jewellery in our enamelling taster class!
This class is designed to be completed one evening, when you can come and learn the basic techniques involved in torch firing enamel. Use your new skills as a foundation for a new hobby, or simply to create something new for yourself!
In this class we work with glass enamels and copper shapes – you’ll have a range of copper shapes to choose from and a great selection of coloured enamels.
You’ll learn how to prepare your metal, use a stencil, layer enamel colours and torch fire the enamel onto your final piece of jewellery.
At the end of the class you will be able to take away your own pendant or pair of earrings. This class price includes the cost of the materials to make one piece of jewellery. If you have time and wish to make more we will supply the materials at an additional cost (typically around £5 depending on your design).
The techniques you will learn in this class will provide a great foundation for anyone wishing to continue enamelling jewellery in their own time.
The class runs from 5.30pm until 7.30pm and you can choose the date you wish to attend on the dropdown menu above.
Please note: This class may be postponed if there are less than 3 people registered to attend. If that happens you will be offered a full refund or a place on a future class.
