Do you need a purpose built space to practice your craft?
Our beautiful jewellery studio is located just outside Sheffield city centre at Portland Works. The space has good natural light and plenty of bench space. The studio is a shared space and we offer memberships to jewellers who need a space to work, but don’t want the cost of renting (and equipping) a private studio.
We know how important it is for jewellers to have a work-space outside of their home, we find it vital to connect with other independent jewellers and importantly to have a designated area for tools, working with fire, dust, enamels and pickle!
Memberships include the following:
Access to a jewellery bench.
Use of shared tools, including hearth and blowtorch with gas, pickle, pillar drill, polishing wheel and tumbler. Small tools such as pliers, hammers, doming and swaging blocks and more are also available.

Keys to access the studio when it suits you.*
A listing in our members area where you can share your work, website or social links (we can help you with this in our mentoring sessions if you like!).
There are no additional costs for gas or electricity. Internet access is usually available but is not guaranteed. We have hot drink making facilities, but may ask for donations if you use the communal tea and coffee.
The monthly membership costs £65 per month and a deposit is required. Terms and conditions apply.
*You can have 24hr access to the studio, except when classes are running. Any classes running will be highlighted in the calendar online (access to the online calendar as part of your membership).
