6 Class Pass Terms & Conditions

1. The 6 Class Pass

The 6 Class Pass entitles the named holder to attend six eligible jewellery making classes at The Jewellery Business, subject to availability and these Terms & Conditions.

2. Booking Classes

  • All classes must be booked in advance using The Jewellery Business online booking system.
  • Customers must create a Class Member account to access and book classes.
  • Bookings close at 4:00pm on the day of each class. After this time, attendance cannot be guaranteed and customers should contact The Jewellery Business directly to enquire about availability.
  • Class places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

3. Class Pass Validity

  • Your first class must be attended within 30 days of purchasing your 6 Class Pass. If no class is attended within this period, the pass will expire unless otherwise agreed by The Jewellery Business.
  • Once your first class has been attended, your pass remains valid for 12 weeks from the date of your first class, not from the purchase date.
  • If you are unable to book a class because it is fully booked, you must notify The Jewellery Business on the day you attempted to book. Your pass may then be extended to exclude that unavailable week.

4. Cancellations & Missed Classes

  • If you cannot attend a booked class, you must provide at least 24 hours notice.
  • Cancellations made with more than 24 hours notice will allow you to rebook that class at a later date within the validity of your pass.
  • If you cancel with less than 24 hours notice, fail to attend the class will be deducted from your pass.

5. Class Availability

The Jewellery Business cannot guarantee availability on specific dates or times. Customers are encouraged to book sessions in advance throughout the duration of their pass.

6. Health & Safety

For the safety of all participants:

  • Closed-toe shoes must be worn.
  • Long hair must be tied back.
  • Loose clothing, scarves and dangling jewellery should not be worn.
  • Suitable workshop clothing should be worn as jewellery making can be dusty or dirty.
  • Customers must follow all workshop safety instructions provided by the tutor.

Anyone considered to be under the influence of alcohol, recreational drugs, or medication that impairs their ability to work safely will not be permitted to participate. No refund or replacement class will be offered in these circumstances.

7. Workshop Conduct

The Jewellery Business reserves the right to refuse participation or remove anyone whose behaviour is unsafe, disruptive or abusive towards staff or other participants. No refund will be given in these circumstances.

8. Materials & Projects

Basic consumables and use of workshop equipment are included unless otherwise stated. Metals, other materials, gemstones or precious metals will incur additional charges.

Projects started during classes may require additional sessions to complete depending on complexity and individual progress.

9. Refunds

  • The 6 Class Pass is non-refundable once the first class has been booked.
  • Refunds up to 14 days after the purchase date will be considered.
  • Unused classes have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash.

10. Pass Extensions

Extensions outside the standard validity period may be granted only at the discretion of The Jewellery Business and may be subject to an administration fee. You should communicate your need to extend the pass before it expires.

11. Changes & Cancellation by The Jewellery Business

Occasionally classes may need to be rescheduled or cancelled due to illness, insufficient bookings or circumstances beyond our control. Customers will be offered an alternative class date and no class will be deducted from their pass.

12. Acceptance of Terms

Purchasing a 6 Class Pass confirms that you have read and accepted these Terms & Conditions.
